October 5, 2006 meeting of Bay Area Panographers

The date for the next California Bay Area get-together is Thursday, October 5 2006 at 7 PM. John Greenleigh has again offered to host the meeting at Flipside Studios in Berkeley . Thanks in advance John! (directions)

Presentations in October will include:
* Kevin O'Connor is one of the country's leading experts on digital workflow and color-management, and will let us know some of the best ways to make color behave. His talk will be excellent for both film and digital shooters.

* Mickael Therer will join us via video/audio conference from Belgium, to share with us some of the amazing panoramic photojournalism he's producing. One of his most current and striking series is a 360° panoramic scrapbook from Mozambique, "Walking with AIDS". Mickael was unable to join us...

Timeline:
7:00 - 7:30, socializing
7:30 - 8:30, pizza & presentations ("P & P")
8:30 - 10:00 or so, hands-on 'lab' and/or further discussion

As always, the best part is meeting and conversing with a great and diverse group of professional shooters from all around the Bay!

If you can't make it in person:
For folks who can't make it in person, we'll have an online audio/video chat room set up during the meeting. For more info on connecting with us "live from remote", contact Patrick.

Look forward to seeing everyone!
