There's a site feedback forum for this type of question, and it is considered bad form to ask the same question in multiple locations on the site, without any relation to the post you are replying to. Since Patrick already replied on your question in this topic, I am leaving this comment intact and I have deleted the other copies of your comment.
Your problem in particular seems to be related to the Word HTML you pasted. Things generally work better if you don't copy/paste from Word.

I'm not quite sure what you mean... When you make a blog post, its title will appear on the front page's righthand menubar automatically.
If you have a particular blog item which you think is newsworthy, alert the IVRPA and a Web Admin can "promote" your post to front-page status (that is, have the entry appear in the center area of the front page).
Is this what you meant?
